Fountain Gate Tabernacle in Dagenham, Essex, UK is the main worship centre for the Church of Pentecost UK.
As part of a drive to improve energy efficiency the Board of Directors appointed Sangel Solar Technologies to develop a grid-tied solar power system to help reduce the building’s energy consumption as well as to help the Church benefit from government feed-in tariffs. In addition, all the 250W metal-halide lamps in the auditorium were replaced by more energy-efficient 100W LED lights to achieve equivalent levels of illumination. Sangel project-managed and delivered the system to budget and completed the project in August 2015.
